Unable to load workflow states. – ID4223: The SamlSecurityToken is rejected K2

ID4223: The SamlSecurityToken is rejected

When deploying a K2 Appit workflow, a valid SAML security token in required.  The token is cached by the internet browser.

If, however, the cached token expires, the following message is displayed in the Appit workflow editor

To fix the issue, simply clear the browser’s cache.  Pressing Ctrl + Shift + Delete is a shortcut for clearing the cache in Internet Explorer and Google Chrome.
