Redefining the development rules with K2 SmartForms

It is time to tear up and throw away the existing system development estimation rulebook.  K2 SmartForms are rapidly changing the conventional application development landscape, and people are starting to take notice.  Just in the last year alone, we have slashed our application development time.  We can now focus on spending quality engineering time on implementing business-, integration- and workflow services, rather than wasting resources on repetitive wheel-reinventing user interface development.  It is hard to articulate the power and the benefits of the K2 forms framework, but I can truly say estimation months are starting to turn into weeks.

K2 Automated Testing Software

BenchQA allows full test automation of K2, including fully automated K2 SmartForms and K2 Workflow testing. It promotes test driven development for K2 and ensures continued quality assurance for K2 solutions. Easily apply changes to test cases to accommodate changes to K2 apps and ensure all apps are regression tested to avoid defects and assure continuous quality.

It is a phenomenal shift in the amount of functionality we can provide to our customers within a short timeframe.  I can now confidently put usable functionality in front of users in matter of days and get immediate feedback and not feel effort is wasted if they change their mind.  It is now a case of changing form configuration, rather than throwing away expensive code.

We are witnessing the dawn of a new era in application development.  One where we use truly configurable forms and workflow technologies like K2 SmartForms and K2 balckpearl to rapidly create business application that provides immediate benefits to organisations.  One where changes in requirements means change in form rule configuration rather than changes embedded on some IT development code repository.
