Executive Summary

Cunningham Lindsey is a global loss adjusting, claims, management and risk solutions company.

Their client’s range from businesses to insurance companies and brokers to policyholders and the services they provide centre on offering expertise and impartial assistance in relation to loss.

They employ over 6,000 members of staff across 600 sites globally and they excel in supporting insurers, brokers and specialist markets in the assesment of complex claims, on a global scale.

The Problem

Velocity IT were engaged on a consultative basis to collaborate as part of a project team of experts to implement a new case management system for Cunningham Lindsey.

The objective of the system was to manage the claims adjustment element of all insurance claims handled by the global CL network and integrate with the back-office client systems.

The aim of the process-driven, case management system is to allow customers to refer complex claims to a loss adjuster to enable the effective loss adjustment element of a claim.

The K2 built system excels in its ability to provide a truly 360 degree visibility into all elements of the loss adjustment of a claim.

Clients are assured of the fairest claim outcome with relative payouts awarded to their end-client, in a way that removes the burden of the traditional mechanics of claims adjustment.

The loss adjusters have an easy to use system to enable all claims to be managed effectively and any changes in the claims process can be addressed quickly and easily.

The Solution

  • The new system presents a single platform where claims from a variety of customers (e.g. Zurich, Aviva, Allianz, etc.) can be managed from claim initiation to conclusion; providing the loss adjusters a platform to manage every case.
  • The workflow allows inbound email from the claimant to automatically attach evidence to the case file (like photos for example).
